A 250-year-old male masturbator has been found by archaeologists in a dig associated with an ancient toilet in Poland.
The eight-inch leather dildo that has a wooden head was discovered during an excavation with an old school of swordsmanship inside coastal area of Gdansk.
A spokesman for that Regional Office for that Protection of Monuments in Gdansk, said: 'It was found inside latrine and starts back to the wife or husband of the eighteenth century.
'Whether which was by accident or deliberately is anyone's guess though.'
Archaeologists at the website earlier discovered old swords leading the crooks to suspect which the place once was a school of swordsmanship.
The artifact has now been removed for preservation work.
Dildos have been located in some form throughout history, with Upper Palaeolithic artefacts previously discovered being reportedly likely used by sexual pleasure.
For millenia, phallic objects have already been used symbolically as a technique to boost fertility and reduce the chances of evil spirits - however their use as sexual aids features a long history, too.

While phalluses produced from stone, wood, leather and in some cases camel dung have be found during excavations, or referenced throughout historical text and images.
And an Austrian museum even contains the world's oldest condom on display along with four other condom fragments dated from around 1650.
These were present in a toilet at Dudley Castle in England.
